Tired of dealing with breakouts?

Each client that has acne is unique, so that's why I like to give an analysis for what kind of treatment they should receive when heading to the spa for facials. While acne can be one of the most frustrating skin problems for adults and teenagers, it is also one of the most common reasons a person comes to me for facials, peels and microdermabrasion. There are many different types of acne all caused by different factors such as genetics, environmental, hormones and immunity. Before you spend time going to a doctor, you should try spa treatments for mild to moderate cases of acne.

How does a pimple form? Well, a pore becomes clogged with dead skin cells, dirt and oil. P. acnes bacteria feed off the oil in the clogged pore and attract white blood cells to the area. When your body responds, it can cause swelling and redness that is common with most acne.

There are many options in the fight against acne and scars caused by acne. We offer glycolic peels, microdermabrasion, and deep cleansing purifying facials.

These peels work by removing superficial layers of the dead skin cells that can clog pores. Most people can start to see results within their first or second treatments! It is recommended that you do a series of at least 6 peels or microdermabrasion 7-14 days apart. While there is no "downtime" with these treatments, you could possibly have some redness or peeling, but not much.

With these treatments and the right formulated skincare routine, you can have glowing, clear skin by the time summer gets here!

Receive $20 off your first treatment when mentioning this blog!
